Helping-Aid.org (“We”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We understand that your privacy is Important. When you give us your personal details by making

a donation for instance or when you support any of our projects or register for any of our events – you may receive follow up information from us directly relevant to the project, including how your donation is being used.

Information about you that you give us by filling in forms, by downloading and completing standing order forms, by completing our online contact form or when corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or any other form of communication such as social media etc. The information you give us may include your name, contact details (such as address, e-mail address and phone number, DOB), your personal preferences, choices and requirements specific to particular requests or services, financial and credit card information if donations are made, or the name of the company you are contacting us from.

As mentioned above we make use of essential cookies on our web site they include technical information such as your IP address, how you interact with the web site for system effectiveness measurement, where the site request was rendered from as well as cookies  for security and  anti-fraud reasons. Non-essential cookies can be disabled.

You can make a request for your personal information that we hold.

Data/information might be shared between  departments in our charity in order to fulfill requests or to complete transactions etc

Please note that we are in the process of setting up our social media page on Facebook .Social media sites also collect  personal information . In order to see what information is collected and how it is shared you need to visit Facebook and go through their data policy.

We will maintain the confidentiality of  personal information that you share with us  and we will  protect your confidential information in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

We have taken the necessary steps to make sure that the information provided by our site visitors and donors are safe.  Transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure thus we cannot guarantee the security of the information transmitted to our website. Therefore you need to understand the information that you transmit by using our web site is at your own risk.  When we receive your information/data we will store it securely. 

Information will only be shared in accordance with the law, ie if we are requested to do so by the authorities, or in relation to the terms of use of our site and any other  legal obligations that we have  and in order to protect the rights and property of Helping Aid.
